Bridal Hair and Makeup | IL Wedding Photographer

I love weddings. I love going to weddings, being in weddings, helping plan weddings, and photographing at weddings. I love love love them.

For this wedding, I was actually a bridesmaid--but the photographer wasn't coming until after we all had our hair and makeup done.

Knowing how much I adore wedding photography and how beautiful getting ready pictures can be, the bride asked that I tote my camera along with my bridesmaid's dress and play two roles for a few hours--and I was thrilled.

I mean, look at her!!!!

Karalynn is probably the sweetest person on the planet. I don't say that lightly--she genuinely radiates affection, support, and kindness everywhere she goes. Honestly, being her bridesmaid was such a gift. Knowing her is a gift!

Her makeup was soft and glowy, just like her personality. And her hair was delicate and glamorous, and made her look like a wood fairy. (and if anyone gives off wood fairy vibes, it's Karalynn!)

She deserved to have memories of this quiet time before the wedding day agenda took over, and it was so sweet to share them with her and give her back a little something to remind her of how beautiful she is, inside and out.
