A lot happens the morning of your wedding.

For mine, I underestimated how much time hair and makeup needed to happen, and we were rushing to the venue nearly 40 minutes late! So many moments happened that morning that I missed.
Karalynn planned hers with much more getting ready time, and as a result, we were all able to relax, commemorate the occasion, and savor the memories. As a bridesmaid, it was wonderful to have all that time to be with her before the ceremony and the rush of the wedding day hit!

Another benefit was that, in addition to getting the hair and makeup pictures she'd asked for, I had a little extra time to run around and capture what was happening with the boys. We also got a couple small shots of the other bridesmaids and family members who were enjoying their getting ready time too.
One moment I particularly loved is the photo below. The groom, Sam, was about to get dressed himself, but the father of the Bride needed a bit of help with his tie. So he stopped for a minute to help him perfect the knot. It was sweet, and a really good moment showcasing the groom's habit of taking time to just be helpful whenever he can--even on his wedding day!

Being in this wedding felt like temporarily becoming a part of the family. It was a truly beautiful day <3
