A Bit About Me
I'm a high-energy, bright spirited wedding photographer who loves connecting personally with clients and ensuring they have the best wedding day experience possible! My shooting style aims for romantic and joyful candids and prompts, but I love to throw in some editorial flair through creative framing and by keeping a close eye on the details. My favorite part of the day is capturing explosive laughter on the dance floor.
In my alter-ego life, I'm a 3rd-12th grade Science Teacher for a small school, a Christian who's recently fallen in love with Anglican liturgy, an avid fan of pop punk/rock music, mom to a beautiful ball python named Turkey, and a lover of walkable neighborhoods. When I'm not in the "editing cave," I'm painting, playing video games, or "catching up" on One Piece.

Why me?
I'm all about serving you and your clients!
01
Personable and Professional
By far the strongest asset I bring to your team is the ability to connect with guests and clients! As your second, I play a supportive role, keeping spirits high, tension low, and problems solved. As an associate, I lead with confidence, humor that breaks the ice, and adaptability that keeps clients comfortable even when the little things go wrong. My clients love that I dance along to their reception music and smile throughout the day!
02
Confidence in Lighting
I love natural light as much as the next girl--and I prioritize it whenever possible. But I'm not afraid of flash, and I love to break out my video light at receptions to add drama to speeches and dances. You can count on well-exposed images with a mix of lighting scenarios to choose from. A typical reception for me includes my video light, an off-camera flash, and an on camera flash. As a second, I usually stick to one flash on camera unless you want me to bring out more!
03
Attention to Detail
I'm all about making sure each groomsmen's jacket is buttoned the same way, that background clutter is set aside, and that dresses are properly fluffed. I notice when your arms are full and help carry your gear. I watch for decor items and candid moments that would be easy to miss and seek out framing that tells a story.
04
Familiar with a Variety of Traditions
I've been blessed with clients from a variety of cultural and religious backgrounds who have been eager to share their traditions with me. From the Vibora de la Mar to Coptic Orthodox robing and crowning, I'm passionate about understanding and capturing the moments clients hold dear.
What's the Catch?
I'm not an OCF master...yet.
I'm open to learning, but I'm not yet skilled at coordinating more than my two flashes and video light. I also know the video light is a bit of a unique choice for a photographer, so my work will probably resemble yours when working with a videographer. I'm entirely flexible on its use as a second shooter.
I do want to be able to edit and post the photos, eventually :)
We're not really surprised by this one, you know? I'm cool with whatever timeline or crediting situation you prefer! I just love the art of photography and find myself the most creative when I know I can show off the work at some point.
