In-home Newborn Session | Geneva Family Photographer | The Quinns

This newborn session has a special place in my heart! It has been such a joy to see a dear friend's family keep growing. After Miranda modeled for me in my favorite client closet dress earlier that summer, a warm summer month passed by, and sweet Norah was welcomed into the world! Just a few weeks after she was born, I was able to come over to Miranda and Dan's home to capture the sweet, early days of her life.

This session was short and sweet, focused on capturing the connection of the whole family together in about half an hour. Big sister Elena was full of giggles as she cuddled with her new sibling and her parents in the corner of their living room. We sang some Bluey songs. Warm light flooded the space, bringing out the tones of their wooden curio full of favorite books. Norah drifted between sleep and waking. Grandma and Grandpa watched from the couch and cuddled Nora's big sister in between shots, and then we all got caught up with each other over dinner.

This was such a precious mini session! I love getting to do in-home newborn sessions, for friends (or clients who quickly become like friends!).
