In-Home Newborn Session | Geneva & Wheaton Family Photographer | The Frierichs

Those first few weeks with a newborn are sacred. Baby is growing accustomed to all the senses of the world, Mom and Dad are adjusting to a transformed version of their life, filled with sweet snuggles and fewer hours of consecutive sleep. When I step into these spaces, my goal is to make you feel safe and comfortable as we capture this precious moment in time.

With the Frierichs, we stayed in their living room, so they didn't have to worry about tidying up the rest of the house. They had beautiful window light that washed over them, and baby boy was sleepy and peaceful for us the whole time.

No one had to leave the house, no naps were ruined, and as soon as I left the house, everyone could go straight back to enjoying their newborn snuggles. It was a perfect dreamy little session, hushed and quiet in a way that revered the peace of this stage.
